Naruto learns the toad summoning technique, Sasuke learns Chidori.

Naruto learns Rasengan, Sasuke activates Curse Mark level 2.

Naruto learns Odama Rasengan, Sasuke learns Chidori Stream.

Naruto learns Rasenshruiken, Sasuke obtains Orochimaru's powers.

Naruto achieves Sage mode, Sasuke achieves Mangekyou Sharingan.



It's a crude comparison and may have some bits that are kinda out of alignment, but it shows how Kishi is making them develop at the same time. Can any of you guys figure out how Sasuke evolved when Naruto learned Shadow Clone Jutsu? I'm not too sure. I think this is the earliest we see them developing.

as I have just showed above Naruto is actually behind Sasuke in development but they are the ones who develop fastest of all the Naruto characters currently.

great job jcossey! but how about naruto learning how to control part of the nine tails power(or ask the kyuubi for some power) in the shonnin jump? Or is that part of the summoning training, for naruto? i mean isnt that a significant jump for him at the time, it did help him defeat neji (or set up the win for naruto)?

i dont disagree with you, when it comes to sasuke growing more, now, but dont you think naruto in the beginning grew much more than sasuke, while they were team 7?

truthfully that wasn't a complete control, therefore it was an unperdictable power, and all the Rasengan wind style varients finally caught Naruto back up to Sasuke's varients of all the Chidori, needless to say Sasuke still showed Kirin which Naruto as of yet still hasn't shown anything to compare to it when it comes to development Naruto is still theorically behind in development until a) Naruto Learns the Tailed Beast Bomb which would compare to Sasuke's Kirin or b) Naruto aquires the Rinnagan, if he gets both then he by passes Sasuke and become the deadlier of the two imo, which would take his underdog role away from him completely, we can't have that until Sasuke switches sides back to good guy, Naruto beats Sasuke, or Madara tries to screw everyone over, needless to say he needs everything he can get to beat Madara.

As of Development while on team 7 Sasuke was developing at a faster rate then Naruto, what happened was Naruto's rate of development started to increase and Naruto's true strength started to appear which gave Sasuke the impression that he wasn't growning strong enough fast enough because he was expecting to have the same difference in strength after all that time, which was obiviously not the case due to Naruto spamming Shadow Clones, in truth Naruto has nearily 30 times the experince Sasuke had by the time Sasuke defected to the Sound yet not the skill.

thx. that clears up alot. but you always say naruto may acquire the rinnegan. how is that so if the uchihuas was the ones who acqired the sages eyes. and didnt madara say that he gave nagato the rinnegan? I mean it would be awesome if he did, yet creepy. but do you really feel as if itachi gave him something to actually be able to do that? i know i ask alot of questions just curious.

All I can say is this. Naruto is based of DragonballZ Goku is Naruto as Vegeta is Sasuke. How Goku is always 1 step ahead.

In this show, it's the opposite. Sasuke is 1 step ahead n Naruto is behind. Like JCrossy stated. Each one, try to improve to be better than each other. It sad that Kishi only taught Naruto few jutsu, where Kishi could have got Naruto to learn quite a few jutsu from alot of people.

Shadow clones take exp. more clones, faster u learn. Sasuke took quite a time to learn a jutsu or by copy it with his Sharingan.

I mean, there some jutsu I wished Naruto learn from movies or side Ark but it never seem to be true.

Itachi could have done few things. JCrossy has mentioned few of them. Yet, it could be anything. I mean, hell. We didn't know what Itachi do to Sasuke when he touched his forehead after few chapters later to find out he transfer his powers to Sasuke.

Exactly what Dark said, Itachi gave Naruto something, I'm speculating it's the Uchiha's Chakra, also the Sages eye is what became the Sharingan, the Sage never passed on the Rinnagan, yet we have 10 clues already that shows that the odds are that Kishi is really planning to give Naruto the Rinnagan, infact the most recent chapter provided the 10th clue through the Kyubi, "You are going to Become Pain- Nagato" though I felt the chapter pointless, it helps to fearther the point to what Kishi is planning, the biggest clue is still the fact that Kishi had Madara state what Nagato's clan name was, there was no point in bringing it up unless he was infact truely planning to give Naruto the Rinnagan.

well do we know if there is a time limit on how long they can use EMS?

No we don't, like it was stated before we have no idea what else is improved besides the strength of the skills and the negative side effect of MS going away.
