Sorry if it's a duplicate, couldn't find a thread for this show.
I find this show quite addicting to watch. It has drama and mystery mixed in, which is my favorite genres.  To be honest, I wouldn't have thought that this kind of show would air on ABC family. It seems waay too suspenseful for most people.
Season One introduces a clique of five girls - Spencer Hastings, Hanna Marin, Aria Montgomery, Emily Fields, and Alison DiLaurentis. During a slumber party, Alison goes missing and is nowhere to be found. One year later her body is discovered in the backyard of the house she lived in, forcing the four surviving girls who had since grown apart, to reunite. Shortly before Alison's body is found, the four girls begin to get messages from an anonymous "A", who knows their deepest and darkest secrets that they thought only Alison knew. I've been really liking the show, but I haven't read the books so I can't compare the two. I feel weird for liking the series because it's not something I would normally watch.

I read the books first, and I must say... The show was much more predictable on what would happen next... D: Whatever though, I still love this series. <3

I LOVE this show! I was super mad when the season ended! I can't wait for it to recontinue! And that Allison does not seem like a true friend at all, I mean she was just pure evil and her brother is too!

I loved the books and I'm loving the show right now, too!
I've heard that they aren't going to follow the books exactly (which it shows, so far), which I'm glad. It keeps me guessing!
The latest Halloween prequel special was super creepy, too!
I've also heard that they're going to reveal who "A" is next season! But I'm not sure if it's confirmed or not? |
