For those of you dismissing this as just another ecchi show, You might want to give the first episode a shot. It's surprisingly interesting (but you have to watch the entire episode to realize the twists)

Fun anime, I wouldn't say its ecchi because you only get fan service.
First episode was good. Alien kitty cat girl, Rambo chick and Psycho baby with BIG gun I'm there And I agree with Greylurker, it just seems people live to bitch without giving the show an honest try. ~td99 |

It is going to be interesting to see if they justify a seemingly ordinary guy knowing so many extraordinary females, apparently well before Elis arrived.

It airs in Osaka five days before it airs in Tokyo and six days before it airs in Okinawa. AFAIU, it was simulcasting with Tokyo, and they have moved it ahead of the Tokyo broadcast to get closer to the Osaka broadcast. |

speekma wrote: I like how you're questioning the realism of a guy knowing a bunch of assassins, but the cute cat-girl alien that speaks Japanese is normal It is a common practice in science fiction that the author is allowed one primary element that is far-fetched, or bends (or breaks science), etc.. As the "hub" for the story, the cute cat-girl alien fits the bill. The speaking Japanese part is quite logical, especially if Japan was where she originally intended to land, or if we find out later she also speaks various other human languages. If you were traveling to a foreign land (which another planet definitely qualifies as), it would not be unusual to learn the language first. |

LeeUBunny wrote: Why same type of animes get something like Sengoku BASARA 2. All CrunchyRoll get is stuff like this. Yeah, I know what you mean, Crunchyroll only gets anime like catgirls ... fighting hollows ... playing soccer ... harboring a crush on her female classmate ... and saving the world from climate apocalypse ... on a hyperpowered motorcycle ... while delivering mail in a shadowy fantasy landscape. Its like all so similar. All sarcasm aside, what evidence is there that Crunchy did not want Sengoku Basara 2? The more obvious explanation is that Funimation licensed it for streaming, and so far Funimation has not streamed any of their shows on Crunchyroll. |
