I just watched the first episode on Funimation and wow..
The art was unbelievable, the animation fluid, the music was awesome, I want the tracks for it! The storyline is interesting (what there was in one episode). It kinda reminds me of Code Geass though. If there is a second season, I hope it doesnt suck like I feel CG2 did. |

This feels like code geass v. 2. And there are good reasons why people thought so.
Felt again, like something I would write. Hope it's great. It seems line It would sell very well. |

I searched for this thread using the search spot above and its not working very well.
It didnt show any thread at all, so annoying, I spend time making that stupid thread oh well.. Anyway, here is a photo from the magazine that I used . ![]() I think its interesting , the animation is really well done , there was a lot of details in the first episode,a lot oof fine animated details. You know its got a familiar story style but it appears to be an orginal work for anime. I hope the plot gets stronger and we get to see more character work. Yuuki Kaji the seiyuu for Shuu is starting to get more lead roles.I like his young innocent voice and he is in C3 too. It got me interested, so I will put this in my watch list.Very good sales pitch first episode. Tetsuro Araki sensei is directing and storyboarding this one.I met him twice, from the HS of the Dead panel at AX 2011 which he only flew in for that and went backk to Tokyo and also years ago for Death Note.He is very good talented young Director. He is nice to his fans too. Since Funimation licensed this for North America sales, they are also streaming the series http://www.hulu.com/guilty-crown but NicoNico is better |

wow I saw the second episode..
Episode 1 and 2 are great introductory episodes. The animation are awesome. Nice action sequence..The seiyuu are excellent....Kaji as Shu is doing pretty good not to sound too whiney and Nakamura san as Gai , really fits that characters .He was the seiyuu for Alto in Macross Frontier, he did really good with that character. Although therei is still a lot more to know more about Shu and Gai character and I do hope they go there. I feel that these 2 episodes are just prelude to the whole story about them and this struggle. And Director Araki sensei is awesome !!! I am really liking this anime a lot... The stream form NicoNico was slow. |

Episode 2 was good as well. There hasn't been a whole lot of story yet but its flowing well with the rest of the anime. The explanation of Shu's is a little bit complicated but its interesting how he can even use it to draw out his enemies abilities. I was about to give Shu a pass on being a wuss but I was like wtf when he just tries to go back to his normal life at the end of the episode after all that he witnessed and did in the second episode.

Some might feel a little Ao no Exorcist deja vu right now. Starts out amazingly with a big blast in the two first episode but then suddenly it's a school anime!
I couldn't care less though. Havn't read the manga but it doesn't feel like it'll be that much focus on school life. But as I said, I don't really care. I'm already hooked. |

Well Ao no Exorcist started following the manga . then added an extra story here and there and finally started stearing away from the manga at episode 16 and then completely at 18 while the mangaka stayed with the classmates especially with Bon and their relation to the sword. Guilty Crown on the other hand is an orginal story made into an anime first. Also a High school student with power or special ability and is a fighter is pretty common story telling style not unique to Ao no Excorcist nor Guilty Crown. Anyway I am also hooked and excited to see more episodes of this anime and hope to see back story about Shu , Gai and the girl |

Definitely best of the season so far. Not so much a fan of the story or overall concept, and the overdone cliche normal school boy main character that discovers his hidden powers kind of annoys me. But it is graphically suberb, and you can tell a lot of time and effort was put into the directing and choreography. It's extremely well done.

Okay, one thing I don't get, is about this virus. These people don't look sick, so I hope they explain it's nature.

I LOVE IT! The third episode was great! I am really excited to see where the show is gonna go.
I have a feeling that Gai might be the next Lelouch... (wtf he is supposed to be the same age as Shu) I like how there is a relationship forming between Inori and Shu, took longer than I thought. |

*runs around squealing in excitment* Episode 4 was AWESOME. :D
Dirty pool moment though inserting that pic of the little girl crying in that history scene. Gah!!! Makes me feel bad that I can't help her AND protective at the same time... |
