I think Toei's trying to legitimize their release to a degree by giving some connections to ND (or at least timing a few things right). But, once Omega ends, I'm sure they'll then release an ND anime. I want to see how the continuity will link up if they try to make them both set in the same universe. |

Indeed hopefully by then we will have enough ND to make a anime.

Found chapter 50. Apparently, Suikyou is saved from Virgo Shijima's trap by the infant Athena, who sends his Crateris Cloth to him. He sees nothing in the Cloth, knowing that it means he has no future, and will die. Leaving a message on the leaves of the Sala Tree, he drinks from his Cloth to heal himself, and leaves to go face Libra Dohko, his other old friend.
Shijima receives some of the message, which seems to indicate that a legend of some sort threatens to destroy Sanctuary. Looks like things are really starting to pick up. I imagine Hyoga and Shiryu might be heading to the past in the near future. |

All sounds really interesting.
Was hoping to get a new attack from virgo but a temple related trap ability is cool to. can't wait to see the Libra fight. Any scans yet? |

Yeah, I got the info from the scans and some translations.
I'm wondering if we'll start getting the spin offs in America some day soon. I mean, Episode G, The Lost Canvas, and Next Dimension are all different series that could grab different fans, and bring them into the fandom through the manga. |

Don't forget to post one or two scans here as well.
If by in america you mean in English who knows maybe one day. I did talk to a guy that was trying to translate the classic a bit ago. |

Can anyone tell me whether it's possible to get scans of the original Saint Seiya manga online? The official volumes were never released in my region, and none of the common manga hosting sites have the entire series.
Also, has EG been fully scantalated yet? I have only managed to find about 18 chapters online. |

There is no fully translated manga of the classic series or ep G. You can find more cps of epG and you can buy the classic.

I have only managed to find about 18 chapters online. For the most part, the chapters done are rather inconsistent since there was an official manga translation. That said, I do recall low quality scans of the whole Hades are, and Gold Star Scans did the first arc or so, plus all of what constitutes volume 10 (they were going by a different, smaller volume release) at the request of a fan (since Volume 10 is one of the hardest to find, along with some of the first volumes). Most of the volumes are around $8, so importing via Amazon, or checking EBay might be your best bet. As for Episode G, GSS also did the best scans of those, but only went to chapter 10 or so (sadly, their head went missing, so they've been defunct since last January). As for Chapter 50 scans... http://hcd-1.imgbox.com/adgBqJWl.jpg?st=GlmK15C58TCK0plLR5IIiA&e=1357452334 http://hcd-1.imgbox.com/aduSDtFm.jpg?st=ASqR9a0WE5H6gLOyChAWgw&e=1357452416 Things aren't looking too good if the future doesn't change. |

No problem, I'm glad to help. If things haven't changed too much, more than 20 of the 28 volumes Viz put out should still be in print. I think only around 3-5 were OoP. But hey, most of them still shouldn't be too expensive, and a few of those volumes were scanned, even if most weren't. |

*Spoilers for the latest Saint Seiya: Next Dimension chapter*
http://www.imagebam.com/image/de118e234529783 http://www.imagebam.com/image/1cb3f4234529854 Seems in Next Dimension, the Zodiac's just become unlucky number 13. Ophiuchus Gold Saint, I like the sound of that. *end spoilers* I can't wait for the next batch of chapters in the Summer. |
