I had a feeling this would be an epic anime.
Probably the best of Summer 2012. |

Nihon no ongaku wa suki na no desu ka. I do. :D

Also, I believe the anime is supposed to be a "two season" anime so I believe that means 24-26 episodes?
I'm hoping that they have more though. I'd love to see them do a full 26 for each volume. That would be like 4 years worth of Sword Art Online? XD |

I haven't read the manga, but the first ep seemed pretty cool.

The first episode was pretty enjoyable, even though it was mostly setup.

I'm not sure if it is being officially translated though. Thank you. Nice to have something new to read. =) also almost all of SAO has been translated only a couple of side stories haven, and a new volume came out the same day as the anime and the translator said hes gonna translate it as soon as he gets the raw(with this translator it would be done in about a week) |

Here's a thought. So, your real body has basically been in a coma, and you've been in the game for an extended period of time (I won't say how long, but if it's anything like the manga, you'll find out in episode 2). You would have to realize that when you come out of the game, you will be an invalid. If you were someone like one of the main characters, you would go from being a hero to being in a wheelchair. After a lot of physical therapy and hard work, you could get back to physically being the person you were before you started the game. You would not be a hero anymore, nor would would you be able to use those abilities that you used every day prior to leaving the game. The relationships that you formed in the game, would be forever changed.
How many would chose to stay in the game? How many would dive back into the game, the first chance they got? How many would have the strength to face their life outside of the game? |

Episode 2 SAO presents episode 2 with the debut of Asuna Yuuki Great episode overall tbh from the speech, the debut of the new characters, the boss fight, and Asuna & Kirito's teamwork. Yuki Kajiura does an excellent job once again in this latest series with the powerful soundtrack. I do admit that the fight was quite predictable but overall was executed well imo even though one of their comrades got koed. Can't wait to see more next time! |

Wow was this episode rushed. The anime removed all the things that made aria so good in the first place. The biggest thing being
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide the knight was deceiving them the whole time just so he could kill the boss and tried to buy kiritos sword in secret which is a strong item compared to the other swords in the floor |

Wont be on nearly as much due to school. Sorry.

Now when I've calmed down a litte.
Episode 2. The episode over all felt a little rushed but it was still good so it didn't bother me that much. Also I'm sorry to hear that it's not a 100% accurate to the novel. I usually don't read the manga/novels so as long as the anime keeps up the awesome I really don't care. Also that guy, um... I'm so bad with names... Deibil, Debiru, Deb something... Why did he reject the health potion? I mean sure feeling bad for trying to hog the loot over the expence of others is bad but die for it? Hm... And is it just me or did Kirito pull a "Lelouch" at the end, by turning everyone against himself so they don't turn against each other instead? |

Spoiler from the LN I found: Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide An idea occurred to me. Additionally, a large conflict within it caused my body to quiver. If I take this choice, I don't know what kind of future I will see. There was the risk of being killed in a sneak attack, like what I had feared in the past. However ―― at the very least, the animosity directed against Argo and other beta testers might just be avoidable...... From here on, the current four or five hundred people that seem to be beta testers, will now be further divided into two categories. The majority «Testers who are merely amateurs» and, the remaining few «Information controlling dirty Beaters». In the future, the hostilities from new players, should be all directed towards Beaters. Suppose a beta tester is found out, players would not hate them on sight. In return, I alone, will have lost the ability to fight on the front lines in any guilds or parties...... However, it's not like much has changed. I am a «Solo» even now, and I will still remain a solo. That is all. It definitely felt that way even without knowledge of the VN. |

The Best

I admit I thought this sounded pretty stupid and not the sort of thing I'd like, but it's my policy to watch the first few episodes of most simulcasts on CR. Right now I'm glad for that policy of mine, because I'm really liking this, and it's likely I'll keep watching until the end.
