However I believe Sasuke will awaken the Rinnegan and realize his mistake and resurrect Naruto using that resurrection technique with the Rinnegan. Sasuke ending up saving Naruto's life and they both die kind of.

Anyone who actually pays attention to how the anime has progressed would see this, and I'm quite happy that someone posted EXACTLY how badly Sasuke has failed at turning his life around, despite the plethora of opportunities he was offered.

He miiiiigghht decide he wants to be forgiven just before he dies, and that's as much as we can hope for him now I think, unless the mangaka decides not to be realistic. Naruto will eventually have to defeat him, and even if Naruto makes him realize how stupid he's been for years, he still needs to die. Or travel, blind and powerless, into faraway lands of exile.
