Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo

I dont know how this show will ultimately turn out, but it would be nice if in the end, they all end up working in their respective careers together. You have an artist/manga writer, animator, script writer, voice actress and game creator all living under the same roof.

hi

the imouto is awesome
and Misaki's driving skills are straight out of an action movie or something lol I can no longer tell who is in the lead, Mashiro or Nanami and I'm alright with that with 24 eps total, if it keeps me guessing then this anime will be great |

believes that D-Frag and Nisekoi deserve an anime

I can no longer decide whether I like Nanami or Mashiro better, and I am completely okay with this.

I laughed from start to finish. And the whole driving bit with Mashiro was crazy.

I think you mean Misaki, but yes, it was. |

Love the new scene change precedent, hopefully it sticks... And for the record, I'm in Nanami's corner. At this point, Mashiro is a more of a "younger sister" character than a love interest, but it's not like sis-con is anything new for anime, so we'll see how it goes. This show is one of my favorites this season.

After reading Kageru77's comment. I thought about it and there's some areas where their jobs and specialties can all come together and become a start up business. All of their talents can lead to cooperative projects.

Eps 8 spoilers ahead.
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide It was a decent episode, sometimes it feels a little corny, but it still fits within the show fairly well. I keep liking Mashiro more and more with each episode too and Aoyama also looks awesome in glasses. More importantly though, i am glad Sorata failed his interview. He needed to fail, otherwise it would have been too easy for him to succeed. The interview seemed rather realistic, the reaction to not being prepared for a specific question, and the anxiety and panic are pretty relatable. Now We also get to see more about Mashiro next episode, very very exciting. I am also quite curious as to why the developer took some mild interest in Sorata based on where he lived and went to school. |

Episode 8 ![]() What is love? That is one hell of an interesting question. But anyways, this episode was entertaining especially in the beginning there. I guess becoming a Game Designer is a lot harder than it looks. The latter half of the episode was a fun watch and it seems that their running might be a symbolism of chasing their dreams. I hope they can achieve their dreams soon, someday. |

Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Something I found very interesting in the latest episode is how everyone in Sakurasou seemed to understand how Sorata needed to deal with his depression, with the exception of Aoyama. As sweet as Aoyama is (and adorable in glasses, holy moe!), I think she's fundamentally wrong for Sorata. Maybe Mashiro is childish, and a pain in the ass sometimes, but she always seems to know how to do what's best for him. |

Click to show or hide that's pretty easy to spot, especially in this episode. it seems Nanami is content to console Sorata and let him depend on her, whereas Mashiro wants to help him up, dust him off, and walk forward beside him. +10 points to Mashiro this episode. |

The whole concept that Sakurasou is where the school's "problem children" go and that it's an inferior place to live than the regular dorms didn't make sense. The main character seems absolutely convinced that Sakurasou is somehow inferior to the "regular" dorms, but I think the opposite is true, even if it didn't have such interesting characters living there. I mean, think about it -
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide 1) the reason he was told by the school admins to go to Sakurasou or get rid of the cat was because Sakurasou allows pets, so it has a much more liberal policy than the normal dorms, ie. they have more privileges. 2) Sakurasou is probably less crowded than the regular dorms. There are 7 people that live there, with one being the resident adviser/teacher. Each have their own room (no roommate). Between the 7, they share a kitchen and maybe 2 or 3 bathrooms, a laundry room and a common area. That's better than most college dorms in the US, including the top tier private colleges... and these guys are in high school! 3) Think about the residents... all of them (besides Sorata and Nanami) are already highly accomplished and successful. Granted, they have their peculiarities, but why would the school put their accomplished and successful students in "inferior" dorms? 4) Despite the above mentioned, the rent is cheaper... at least one of the residents, and possibly up to 4 of the residents can probably buy the place outright. It seems everyone in that school (besides Nanami) is somehow wealthy enough to not care about rent that much, because the cheaper rent alone should make Sakurosa a very attractive place for students, regardless of who lives there. Also, here's something fun to ponder - possible mental/developmental disorders for each character: Sorata - GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder) Mashiro - Asperger's syndrome or HFA (Higher Functioning Autism) Nanami - OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) Misaki - ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder) Jin - he may actually be the only "normal " person, besides his promiscuity (which some may characterize as a disorder) Ryunoske - social anxiety disorder, probably agoraphobia or maybe even gynophobia (it is an anime, so a shut in gynophobic seems likely) |

I doubt she's autistic. One of the characteristic features is the inability to see things from anothers perspective. Whilst she plays dumb, she's very good at pushing people's buttons |

Aspergers, maybe. But she doesnt really say whatever she thinks, which is one of the signs of that disorder (no internal filter). She's really quiet and socially inept, there is high functioning autism, where you have most of your faculties working properly, but you still show signs of autism.
