^^ This. It would be nice if there was some type of earlier advanced warning. I think Hulu has something like that if you add it to your queue. Why hasn't Crunchy added a feature like that? Luckily, Steel Angel Kurumi has shorter episodes, so I can squeeze it in in time before it gets taken down, but it can be so hard to figure out what to prioritize when you have people like me with massive backlogs.

I'm vaguely curious about this series because I remember the fansubs coming out when I was in College (I watched about half of the first episode on my roommate's computer and then lost interest because I was addicted to Counterstrike) but honestly, after I finish up with Zeta Gundam, Wing is next so I most likely won't have time for this.

Wow, it's a shame that so many awesome titles are expiring so fast. I hope CR can get the licenses back soon. If anything, these expirations are increasing both visibility and demand for these series. So if they were re-acquired and the re-acquisitions were announced visibly, then demand / viewership would probably increase a lot.

I'm not the kind of guy that's always into the latest (and sometimes greatest) stuff, catalog titles mean a lot to me, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way.

Have the old boxset collection. Had been thinking of rewatching it. The melody that plays at the DVD title screen has always been a favorite. Wish I could find out what it's name is.

This series came to mind recently.
I was Idly wondering what shows CR have had in their library for the longest time (just from memory-not looking at a list) and these seemed like a possibility. I remember it as being one of the first back library titles I watched in late 2009.

I'm glad I could watch it on CR, it was a lovely story... I miss Kurumi already! (╥﹏╥)

This is an excellent idea and I really hope the CR people get to it sometime.. so many shows were suddenly not in my Queue anymore and I never knew that they were gonna disappear =(

Huh... I think I met my quota for supporting that series when I got the DVDs. Not that I don't appreciate the announcement. If anything else is expiring at the end of the year, I'd expect it to be announced by now.
