Let's kick this holiday season up a notch by continuing our simulcast lineup announcements with Love Live! School Idol Project.

This brand new series from NIS and Sunrise, the same studio that brought you Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere and Accel World, will broadcast on Crunchyroll every Tuesday starting on January 8, at 8:00 am Pacific Time.

“Otonokizaka High School is planning to close within three years. However, nine (9) female students come together with one thing in mind—form a pop idol group to revive the school’s popularity and keep it from shutting down. ‘In order to protect our beloved school, there’s only one thing we can do...become pop stars!’

Their goal is simple: Become an overnight sensation and use their nationwide media exposure to promote their school and bring in a wave of new students to the ailing area. A simple but solid plan, they figure. Naturally, they’re nervous and wonder if this plan can really succeed, but for better or worse their new journey has begun...”

Love Live! School Idol Project will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the following areas: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Central and South America.

Also, don't forget that the console war battles will rage on with another episode of Aoi Sekai no Chushin de which is slated to broadcast on Crunchyroll very soon, so stay tuned in for that! More details on its broadcast date coming soon.

The real reason why schools in Japan is because of the declining population, so instead of turning into an idol group, these girls should be making babies

On a more serious note, I hope this series is better than Idolmaster. It does seem that Love Live will have plot compared to the Idolmaster anime which is good.

Yay, Blast of Tempest is still ingoing!!! Aoi Sekai no Chushin de is the anime that comes out every 3months! LOL

My Little Monster was only scheduled for 13 eps, at this point its up in the air whether there will be a second season or not

Little Busters! is from the Fall Season, so it won't be coming here.
