Ontario and Quebec for sure. We're trying to find out if it extends beyond those two provinces. Someone responding from the west (Alberta I think) said they USED to have bagged milk in the past. |

Other people were quite kind. Their direction-giving was superb? Sad to hear about your negative experience with those brutes. I'd make it my business to intervene and tell those unilingual barbarians off. I strongly believe that most of us abide by the friendly/easygoing reputation. |

Especially the generation before mine. They did not have it easy. and ... I can... understand.. (not condone, not approve) understand why they would have a chip on their shoulder. |

Well I can only think good about Canada, they have been great Allies to us Welsh/British for some time. I remember reading an article once where Canada is the best place to live in the world, I think I might go there one day, but thats it. Canada is a good and underrated country and unlike their neighbors USA.

I have no qualms over berating a senior over something that tactless. Perhaps if the exchange had been among people of the same generation, I'd be less inclined at revulsion. I get what you're saying nonetheless. |

And if one wants to be treated with dignity and respect (and it's largely about respect) the one should as they say, embody the change. |

I mean, I can sort of understand, if I had been rude or anything. But I'd like to think I'm a pretty amiable person, especially if I don't know someone, and things. So I can't really justify their impudence? But it's alright! I ended up meeting a few other people who were quite the deal kinder. I didn't associate it with Canadians, or anything. (': |

There are some movies with bad Canadian stereotypes, such as euro trip.

The stereotype is that everyone in the USA at some point has had a long distance boyfriend/girlfriend from Canada.
